Baolong Holdings Europe Kft. eröffnet neue Produktionsstätte
Als Ergebnis einer 15-Millionen-Euro-Investition auf der grünen Wiese hat Baolong Holdings Europe Kft. eine neue Produktionsstätte in Szigetszentmiklós errichtet, die jetzt offiziell eingeweiht wurde. Neben der Herstellung der traditionellen Produkte des Unternehmens wie Bremsverschleißsensoren und Kabel werden auch Produkte für die E-Mobilität und intelligente Fahrzeuge hergestellt. Im Rahmen des Projekts können 35 neue Arbeitsplätze geschaffen werden.
Die 1997 gegründete Shanghai Baolong Automotive Corporation (Baolong) ist einer der größten chinesischen Automobilzulieferer mit Produktionsstandorten in China, den USA, Ungarn und Deutschland und zu 51 % an der Tesona Gmbh & CoKG beteiligt. Die ungarische Präsenz der Gruppe hat nun an Bedeutung gewonnen, da zwei ihrer Tochtergesellschaften, PEX Automotive Systems Kft. und Baolong Holding Europe Kft. eine neue Produktionsstätte in Szigetszentmiklós eröffnet haben.
Im Rahmen der 15-Millionen-Euro-Investition auf der grünen Wiese, mit der 35 neue Arbeitsplätze geschaffen werden sollen, wurden eine Produktionshalle mit einer Fläche von 7.500 m², eine Bürofläche von 2.160 m² und eine Lagerfläche von 1.600 m² errichtet.
Das Unternehmen plant, den Standort Szigetszentmiklós zum europäischen Zentrum seines Geschäftsbereichs Automobilsensoren zu machen.

As a result of a €15 million greenfield investment, Baolong Holdings Europe Kft. has built a new production facility in Szigetszentmiklós, which has now been officially inaugurated. In addition to manufacturing the company’s traditional products such as brake wear sensors and cables, it will also produce products for e-mobility and smart vehicles. The project will be able to create 35 new jobs.
Shanghai Baolong Automotive Corporation (Baolong), founded in 1997, is one of the largest Chinese automotive suppliers with production sites in China, the USA, Hungary and Germany, and holds a 51% stake at Tesona Gmbh & CoKG. The group’s Hungarian presence has now grown in importance as two of its subsidiaries, PEX Automotive Systems Kft. and Baolong Holding Europe Kft. have opened a new production facility in Szigetszentmiklós.
As part of the 15 million euro greenfield investment, which is expected to create 35 new jobs, a 7,500 m² production hall, 2,160 m² of office space and 1,600 m² of warehouse space have been built.
The company plans to make the Szigetszentmiklós site the European centre of its automotive sensor business.
